CPR & First Aid
ALL CLASSES WILL BEGIN AT 10:00am
The FIRST AID component teaches basics of first aid including legal liability, when to call for help and how to determine the problem. You will also learn how to initially treat some of the more common medical problems as well as common workplace injuries. There will be plenty of hands on practice time to ensure you understand and can perform what you just learned. This class lasts approximately 3.5 hours.
The CPR/AED component teaches CPR and choking for the adult, child and infant as well as the use of the AED (automatic external defibrillator). This class could prove invaluable as most people not in a medical related field, have the potential to have to perform CPR on a loved one. This class also lasts approximately 3.5 hours.
