FIREFIGHTERS VALUE

Firefighters are an important part of any community! They are trained to deal with all kinds of difficult situations including emergency medicine, firefighting, technical rescue, domestic terrorism, and so many other events they may encounter. Firefighters are also trained to deal with all kinds of people with different backgrounds and culture. They are taught to deal with the most stressful situations, keeping their composure to make the best decisions. The fire service educates its personnel to be risk managers, tacticians, and strategists where they are constantly assessing all situations, sizing up the problems and making the environment a better place for everyone involved. A firefighter creates a two way relations with its residents as well as business owners. When a firefighter is not running calls or training, they are  educating the community in fire prevention, safety, or pre-planning the next potential call. They do this by being in schools, lecturing at a retirement homes, or inspiring the next generation at block parties, parades or town functions. A firefighter is the first line of defense when dealing with any situation, always there to help when called and truly worth the investment to any community.
